વર્ગ બઢતી નિયમો ધોરણ ૯ અને 11 (12-06-2024)

    ગુજરાત માધ્યમિક અને ઉચ્ચતર માધ્યમિક શિક્ષણ બોર્ડ દ્વારા જાહેર કરાયેલા પરિપત્ર અનુસાર, ધોરણ 9 અને ધોરણ 11 (વિજ્ઞાન પ્રવાહ સહિત)ના વર્ગવર્ધન સંબંધિત નિયમોમાં મહત્વપૂર્ણ ફેરફાર કરવામાં આવ્યા છે. અગાઉના નિયમ મુજબ ધોરણ 9 અને ધોરણ 11 ના વિદ્યાર્થીઓ માટે પરીક્ષા (રી-ટેસ્ટ)ની શક્યતા શાળાઓ દ્વારા આપવામાં આવતી હતી. પણ, નવી રાષ્ટ્રીય શિક્ષા નીતિ 2020 અનુસાર વિદ્યાર્થીઓને અભ્યાસમાં સારી રીતે સહાયરૂપ થવા તથા વિદ્યાર્થીઓના શૈક્ષણિક ગુણોત્તરને ધ્યાનમાં રાખીને પરીણામ સુધારવાની નવી વ્યૂહરચના અપનાવવામાં આવી છે.

તારીખ 09/05/2024 ના રોજ મળેલી બોર્ડની શૈક્ષણિક સમિતિની બેઠકના ઠરાવ પ્રમાણે હવે ધોરણ 9 અને ધોરણ 11 માટે નવા નિયમ અમલમાં મૂકવામાં આવ્યા છે. નવા નિયમ મુજબ, 2023-24ના શૈક્ષણિક વર્ષથી શાળા દ્વારા લેવામાં આવેલી વાર્ષિક પરીક્ષામાં જે વિદ્યાર્થીઓ કોઈ વિષયમાં નાપાસ થાય છે, તેવા વિદ્યાર્થીઓને શાળાએ તે વિષય માટે પુનઃ પરીક્ષા લેવડાવવી ફરજિયાત રહેશે. પુનઃ પરીક્ષા વાર્ષિક પરીક્ષા પરિણામ જાહેર થયા પછી લેવાશે અને તે માટે શાળાએ શૈક્ષણિક વર્ષ શરૂ થયા પછી ઓછામાં ઓછા 15 દિવસની તૈયારીનો સમય આપવો પડશે.

આથી, હવે દરેક શાળા પરીક્ષામાં નાપાસ થયેલા ધોરણ 9 અને ધોરણ 11 ના તમામ વિદ્યાર્થીઓ માટે પુનઃ પરીક્ષા યોજવી ફરજિયાત છે અને પુનઃ પરીક્ષાના પરિણામ આધારે જ વિદ્યાર્થીઓની વર્ગવર્ધન આપવામાં આવશે. પરિણામે, વિદ્યાર્થીઓને વધુ એક તક મળશે અને શાળાઓએ તેમના શૈક્ષણિક વિકાસ માટે વધુ જવાબદારીથી કામગીરી કરવી પડશે.

According to the revised regulations announced by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board regarding class promotion for Standards 9 and 11 (including the Science stream), a significant change has been implemented. These changes align with the objectives and guidelines of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, aiming to enhance students’ academic growth and provide them with better opportunities for improvement.

Previously, schools had the discretion to conduct re-tests for students who failed in any subject. However, under the new rules, this has now become mandatory for all schools. From the academic year 2023–24 onwards, any student who fails in one or more subjects in the annual examination must be given a compulsory re-test in those specific subjects by the school.

The re-test will be held after the declaration of annual results, and students must be given a minimum of 15 days of preparation time before the re-test is conducted.

This decision is highly beneficial for students as it provides them with an additional opportunity to improve their performance. At the same time, it places greater responsibility on schools to guide and support students through proper instruction, preparation, and the successful execution of re-tests.

These revised regulations reflect a more quality-oriented educational approach and encourage all educational institutions to work more diligently toward the holistic academic development of their students.
